Faith in Missions

The Board of Missions seeks to share and demonstrate God’s love through service by caring for one another in times of crisis and need, and also among our wider community and world. We look to Matthew 25:40 “Truly I tell you, just as you have done it unto one of the least of these, you have done it unto me.”

Currently our Board of Mission has four areas of focus for our efforts. Subcommittees of the Board of Missions work in each of the following areas, not including Gilead Helping Hands, which is listed separately under the heading of "Missions".

Gilead Helping Hands

Gilead Helping Hands (GHH) is a subcommittee of our Board of Missions that seeks to support those in need with hands-on projects. Over 35 volunteers lend their hands with various skills. Some of the projects GHH has been involved with include: Habitat for Humanity Building Day Painting a House Remodeling a Bathroom to Make It Accessible Repairing a Kitchen Fixing a Leaking Roof Repairing a Damaged Ceiling Building a Stair Rail for Safety Helping to Move a Family
